BIM & Digital Twins

BIM and GIS held together as a digital twin that stays current instead of expiring at handover — and heavy Revit, IFC and point-cloud files turned into a browser link your facilities team can actually open.

What this service owns

Holding the model as a live thing, rather than a file that was correct on the day it was delivered.

Building Information Modeling describes a structure in detail; GIS places it in the world and relates it to everything around it. Held together and kept current, the two become a digital twin — a virtual counterpart of a building or an asset portfolio carrying both the geometry and the data attached to it.

Not a model handed over at practical completion, but the record your operations team keeps working against as conditions, sensor feeds and asset registers change.

What you get

  • A twin that stays current, not a model that expires at handover
  • Heavy Revit, IFC and point-cloud files served as a browser link
  • Floor isolation, element attributes and measurement, on a laptop
  • Open formats — 3D Tiles, IFC, GeoJSON — back into your own systems
A building model and its data held together as a digital twin you can open in a browser.

The problem this solves

The most common way that value is lost is at closeout. A capital project finishes and the contractor hands over a Revit model, an IFC export and a point cloud measured in hundreds of gigabytes. The people who now own the building have no workstation that will open it, no licence to open it with, and no route to get it into the systems they actually use. The handover is complete on paper and useless in practice, and the drive goes in a cupboard.

We take that handover and turn it into something anyone can use. Heavy Revit, IFC and point-cloud files are converted to web-optimised 3D tiles and served as a link — a facilities manager opens it on a laptop, orbits the building, isolates a floor, clicks a component and reads its attributes. No plugins, nothing installed, no licence per person.

We have run this at real project scale: a 1.54-billion-point LiDAR capture and a photogrammetry mesh reconciled against an as-built Revit model, all three viewable side by side in a browser.

Capabilities

As-Built Closeout Ingestion

Automated conversion of Revit, IFC and point-cloud handovers into web 3D tiles, delivered as a browser link your facilities and maintenance teams can open on standard hardware.

BIM–GIS Data Integration

Parametric building geometry reconciled with geodetic coordinate systems and topological GIS layers, so the model sits correctly in the world rather than in its own local grid.

Digital Twin Creation & Maintenance

Twins for buildings and asset portfolios, kept current against asset registers and sensor feeds rather than expiring at handover.

Model Inspection in the Browser

Floor isolation, element-level attribute inspection, level-of-detail switching, and side-by-side comparison of meshes, point clouds and vector BIM layers.

Volumetric & Dimensional Measurement

Measurement, area and volume calculation taken directly against the model, by whoever needs the number.

Clash Detection

Automated interference checking between proposed design geometry and what is already there — including buried utilities modelled by our 3D Mapping & Reality Capture service — before the clash is discovered on site.

Scan-to-BIM & As-Built Modelling

Survey data turned into an accurate model of what was actually built, where the drawings on file no longer match reality.

Construction Progress & Cost Support

Progress tracking against the model and quantity data to support cost estimation.

Asset Management Workflows

Facilities and infrastructure asset management processes built on the twin, feeding the registers and plans that already govern the assets.

Application Development, Training & Support

Custom applications over BIM and GIS data, workflow design, and the training to hand it over properly.

Formats

Everything exports to open formats — OGC 3D Tiles, IFC, GeoJSON, scene layer packages — so the twin feeds the GIS and asset systems you already run, and you are not dependent on us to read your own building.

Tell us what you are handing over.

Send the model, the scan or the portfolio and who needs to use it afterwards, and we will come back with an approach, a duration and a price.
